What role does The Massachusetts Futsal Association play in The New Futsal Academy League?
The NEFAL has partnered with The Massachusetts Futsal Association to have them administer certain elements of our programming this winter. For example, we will be sharing many of the same facilities and having our referees assignments provided by them. Our participating clubs and teams are welcome to access additional programming that Massachusetts Futsal offers, including tournaments. The NEFAL will be fully sanctioned by Massachusetts Youth Soccer and USYS. Our schedules and registration will live in separate ecosystems from Massachusetts Futsal and our league fees are fully specific to The NEFAL.
We are excited to have access to the expertise and futsal experience of Massachusetts Futsal working behind the scenes in an administrative capacity to help ensure as many players as possible are having a positive developmental experience competing on a futsal court in New England this winter.
